After a day off enjoying the beautiful Bank Holiday sunshine with my family I was excited to get back to the Telecaster project today, but then my router stopped working mid way through routing out the second cavity. I took the top off and checked the bushes and there is still plenty of wear left in them so then I took the side panel off to have a look at the switch mechanism...
And here is the switch, and obviously the root of the problem! I have looked for ages on the Internet for a replacement but without any success, so it looks like a new router is on the cards.
